I have always had a soft spot in my heart for Israel.
I was taught at Sunday school that they were G-d's chosen people.
In recent years, I have made many friends in Israel and find them a warm and humorous people who want nothing more than a safe homeland to bring up their children and worship in their own way.
I am no longer a christian but strongly believe in the G-d of Moses and try to follow the ten commandments.
When I see and hear of the constant bombardment that Israel receives from some of the terrorists that surround it, this makes me angry and wish there was something I could do from the other side of the world.
My best method so far is to share my love, support and prayers with my brothers and sisters in Israel.
When I see them take decisive measures against these terrorists such as Hamas and Hezbollah, this warms my heart and my prayers become even stronger.
When I see how some other people protest about a state, defending itself against those who would see it suffer and burn, this pisses me off.
So far, in this latest battle against Hamas, many of the worlds more sane leaders have supported Israel and it's struggle for a free and peaceful life.
Long live the state of Israel
